OTTAWA, ON -- The Georgian Grizzlies showcased their dominance with a straight-sets victory over La Cité, extending their impressive record to 14-1 in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA). The Grizzlies triumphed with set scores of 31-29, 26-24, and 25-14, highlighting their resilience and ability to perform under pressure.
Aidan Watson (Barrie, ON) led the offensive charge with a flawless performance, delivering 12 kills on 18 attempts without committing an error, resulting in a remarkable .667 hitting percentage. Gage McCurdy (Burlington, ON) also made significant contributions, adding 9 kills and 3 service aces, accumulating a total of 13 points. Setter Ethan Eiselt-Rolfe (Barrie, ON) orchestrated the offense efficiently, dishing out 31 assists over two sets, while also contributing defensively with 2 digs and a solo block.
