Grizzlies push winning streak to 8, sweep Seneca
Toronto, ON -- Georgian's men's volleyball team win eighth consecutive match, defeat Seneca with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, and 25-20.
Grizzlies displayed a strong attacking game throughout the match. In the first set, they recorded 13 kills out of 30 attempts, resulting in a hitting percentage of .233. They continued their offensive dominance in the second set with 10 kills out of 32 attempts, achieving a hitting percentage of .188. In the final set, Georgian College recorded 9 kills out of 26 attempts, resulting in a hitting percentage of .154.
On the defensive end, Georgian College's blocking skills were on display. They recorded a total of 10 blocks throughout the match, effectively shutting down Seneca's offensive efforts. Additionally, Georgian College's serving game was solid, with 4 aces recorded during the match.
Liam Ludlow (Barrie, ON) was a standout player for the Grizzlies, recording 9 kills with a hitting percentage of .333. He also contributed 2 blocks, showcasing his versatility on both offense and defense. Tyrell Belgrove (Markham, ON) also had a strong performance, recording 5 kills and 4 digs.
