Grizzlies men's rugby extend win streak to three
The Grizzlies put their perfect record on the line in their first road game of the season. They defeated Conestoga 46-17 on Saturday
Hitting the mid-way point in their 2016 OCAA regular season, the Georgian Grizzlies men's rugby team were able to remain unbeaten defeating Conestoga Condors in the back half of a home-and-home series on Saturday in Cambridge, ON.
The Grizzlies were able to score early and build up a strong lead on their way to a 46-17 victory.
Kyle McConnell scored two tries in the game while Michael O'Grady had a try and three converts for an 11 point game.
Alex Butt, Henry Do, Josh Michalik and Kirk Sarfo had the other tries for the Grizzlies.
The victory extends the Grizzlies win streak to three games with a perfect 3-0 record on the season and they remain the only undefeated team in their division.
Georgian has been dominant to this point in the season outscoring their opponents 172-25 and are currently leading the OCAA in point differential.
The Grizzlies will next face the Seneca Sting in their final regular season home game of the season at the new Georgian Sports Field on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 3 p.m.
