Barrie, ON -- The Georgian Grizzlies secured a thrilling 99-90 victory over the Loyalist Lancers on November 29, 2024, at Michele McConney Court. The game was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams trading leads throughout the contest. Loyalist was able to keep pace early, matching Georgian's first-quarter total with 24 points apiece. However, the Grizzlies shifted gears in the second quarter, pulling away with a 24-point effort to take a lead into the half.
Georgian’s explosive third-quarter performance, with 29 points, allowed them to extend their lead, though the Lancers were not easily shaken. Loyalist fought back in the final frame with 24 points, but the Grizzlies’ resilience and a solid defensive stand in key moments secured the win.
