Men's Basketball's Wilson and Marseille Earn OCAA All-Star Honors
BARRIE, ON -- The Georgian Grizzlies men’s basketball program is celebrating a pair of standout individual performances, as forwards Trey Wilson (Barrie, ON) and Sean Marseille (Paris, FR) have earned prestigious Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) honors for their exceptional play this season.
Trey Wilson has been named an OCAA East Division First Team All-Star following an outstanding season in which he showcased his scoring ability and efficiency. Wilson averaged 16.5 points per game, ranking ninth in the league, while shooting 43.0% from the field and 34.8% from three-point range. A key offensive threat, he also ranked fifth in the OCAA in free throw percentage (79.0%) and contributed 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. Wilson was instrumental in the Grizzlies' success this season, leading the team in scoring and making crucial plays down the stretch of several big wins.
Sean Marseille has been named an OCAA East Division Second Team All-Star, recognized for his all-around contributions on both ends of the floor. Marseille was a force on the boards, averaging 6.6 rebounds per game, placing him 17th in the OCAA. His defensive presence was key for the Grizzlies, finishing with 30 steals, good for 17th in the association. Offensively, Marseille added 9.6 points per game while dishing out 2.6 assists per contest. His ability to impact multiple facets of the game made him a crucial asset in the team’s success.
