Men's Basketball Overcome La Cite in Defensive Duel

Ottawa, ON -- The Georgian Grizzlies claimed another victory with a hard-fought 80-74 win over La Cite. Kevonte Anderson (Toronto, ON) led the team with 15 points and showcased his versatility by pulling down eight rebounds. Sean Marseille (Paris, FR) matched Anderson’s scoring, contributing 15 points and adding another eight boards to keep Georgian's lead secure.

The Grizzlies established their dominance early, outscoring La Cite 32-18 in the first quarter. Uzziah Glasgow (Vaughan, ON) added 13 points, including key shots that helped the Grizzlies maintain momentum through La Cite’s second-quarter comeback. Jason Sache (Kanata, ON) also provided a strong presence off the bench, scoring 12 points on efficient shooting.

The Grizzlies held their ground with a balanced attack and tenacious rebounding, finishing with a 43-39 edge on the boards. Despite La Cite’s attempts to close the gap in the fourth quarter, Georgian’s cohesive defense and timely shooting secured the win.
