Men's Basketball Late Rally Falls Short Against Durham
Oshawa, ON -- In a closely contested matchup, the Georgian Grizzlies fell to the Durham Lords with a final score of 89-78. The game showcased the Grizzlies' fighting spirit, particularly in the second half, despite struggling to find their rhythm early on. They trailed 28-14 after the first quarter and, while they narrowed the gap slightly by halftime, they entered the break down 42-28.
The second half saw the Grizzlies come alive, especially in the third quarter, where they scored 27 points compared to Durham's 26. Leading the charge was Jason Sache (Kanata, ON), who had a remarkable performance, scoring 24 points on perfect shooting off the bench (10-10 from the field). Uzziah Glasgow (Vaughan, ON) and Sean Marseille (Paris, FR) also contributed significantly with 15 points and 6 rebounds and 9 points, 11 rebounds for Marseille.
