Bryden Dilley takes home the silver team medal at the CCAA Golf National Championships
Québec City, QC – Bryden Dilley (Barrie, ON) took home the silver team medal at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Golf National Championships held at the Club de Golf Lorette. Dilley competed in the top ranked OCAA group shooting a total of 607 over the four-round event, falling to the top Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) group shooting a total of 604. Bryden finished with a four-round total of 316 in the women’s individual competition. After shooting an opening round one over 80, Dilley finished the second round shooting 79 and the third round shooting 80, saving her best performance for last; shooting a 76 on her fourth and final round. Dilley finished 7th in individual competition.
The Georgian men’s team also competed at the CCAA Golf National Championships after earning the final team spot from Ontario with a fourth-place finish at the Ontario Collegiate Athletic Association (OCAA) Golf Championships. Chris Miller (Huntsville, ON) led the Grizzlies tied in 30th place finish with back to be round of 79, 75 and 77. Matthew Inglis (Barrie, ON) finished tied in 32nd, while Gavin Prosser (Johnstown, ON) ended up tied 36th. Graeme MacDougall (Huntsville, ON) finished tied in 38th and Colton Day (Kamloops, BC) 47th.
