GRIZZLIES CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES AT FANSHAWE INVITATIONAL
Michael MacInnes was the top Grizzlies runner finishing in a solid 16th place as Georgian's men's team finished in 5th.
The Georgian Grizzlies men's and women's cross country team travelled to London to compete in the Fanshawe Invitational on Saturday.
It was a solid race for Georgian's men's team who finished in fifth place overall in a very competitive field.
Michael MacInnes was the top Grizzlies runner completing the 8km race in 28:15 to pick up a 16th place finish.
He was followed by teammates Tyler Thomson who finished 25th, Jeffrey Scott who finished 26th, Nelvin Sen in 48th, Jordan Wooner in 49th and Dylan Kesler who rounded out Georgian's group in 53rd place.
Desiree Allen was the lone female runner for the Grizzlies and she finished in 43rd place, finishing the 6km race in a time of 29:18.
The Grizzlies will have a couple of weeks to get set for their final race prior to provincials when they compete in the Centennial Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19.
