Barrie, ON -- Great start and a tough finish for Grizzlies, defeated by Loyalist 3-1.
The first set saw Georgian take an early lead, winning with a score of 25-21. However, Loyalist quickly bounced back in the second set, winning 25-21. The third and fourth sets were dominated by Loyalist, with scores of 25-8 and 25-15 respectively.
Georgian's Carina Brooks (Caledon, ON) was their top performer with 9 kills, followed by Emily Dixon (Kemptville, ON) with 3 kills. Mackenzie Roy (Edmonton, AB) provided 20 assists for the team.
