The Georgian Grizzlies women's volleyball team got back to their winning ways in impressive fashion on Sunday afternoon as they took on the La Cite Coyotes in Ottawa, ON.
The Grizzlies were dominant on the day winning in three straight sets 25-12, 25-14 and 25-8.
Quinn McGregor and Ashley Mavreas each led the team with eight points (6 kills, 2 service aces)
The win snaps a two-game losing streak for Georgian and was a big victory as it puts them in a tie for third place in the OCAA east division standings with the Loyalist Lancers with matching 9-4 records.
The Grizzlies will be back in action this Thursday, Jan. 26 when they travel to face the east leading Durham Lords (13-0) in Oshawa.
Georgian's next home game will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 31 when they host the George Brown Huskies at the Georgian Athletic Centre at 6 p.m.
