The Georgian Grizzlies women's basketball team hosted their division rivals, the Centennial Colts at the Georgian Athletic Centre on Saturday afternoon.
The Grizzlies started the game with a solid effort playing high energy offence and aggressive defence, but it didn't last.
The Colts wore down the Grizzlies and went on a big scoring run, never to look back as they defeated Georgian 77-50.
Hannah Pearsall led the Grizzlies in scoring once again with 18 points and added seven rebounds while teammate Leah Bracken had 13 points.
The Grizzlies women's team will be back in action this coming Wednesday, Nov. 23 when they host the Seneca Sting at 7 p.m. at the Georgian Athletic Centre.
