Grizzlies continue winning streak, sweep Centennial
Barrie, ON -- Georgian Grizzlies win seventh consecutive game, notch 3rd consecutive sweep vs. Centennial last night. Both teams displayed their skills and determination throughout the game, but Georgian proved to be the stronger team.
In the first set, Centennial put up a tough fight, but Georgian managed to secure a 25-21 victory. The second set was even closer, with Centennial pushing Georgian to their limits. However, Georgian maintained their composure and clinched the set with a score of 25-23. In the final set, Georgian continued their dominance, winning 25-21 and sealing their victory over Centennial.
Grizzlies' Kenneth Ang (Edmonton, AB) displayed excellent leadership and playmaking skills, recording 28 assists and one kill. Liam Ludlow (Barrie, ON) and Liam Thomas (Barrie, ON) were crucial to Georgian's success, with Ludlow contributing five kills and Thomas adding seven kills. Gage McCurdy (Burlington, ON), Tyrell Belgrove (Markham, ON), and Adam Khan (Scarborough, ON) also played significant roles in securing the victory for Georgian.
Overall, Georgian College's men's volleyball team showcased their talent and teamwork in their match against Centennial College. Their strong performance resulted in a convincing 3-0 win, with impressive contributions from multiple players.
