OSHAWA, ON -- Georgian defeated Durham in men's volleyball tonight, with a final score of 3-1. Georgian had a strong performance, maintaining their undefeated record of 4-0 in both overall and conference play. Durham, on the other hand, now holds a 2-2 record in both categories.
Georgian won the first set with a score of 26-24, followed by a 25-22 victory in the second set. Durham fought back in the third set, narrowly winning with a score of 26-24. However, Georgian regained their momentum in the fourth set, winning 25-20 to secure the overall victory.
Georgian's s attack was strong, with a hitting percentage of .209. Kenneth Ang (Edmonton, AB), Liam Ludlow (Barrie, ON), and Gage McCurdy (Burlington, ON) were notable contributors to the team's offense, with Ludlow leading the team in kills with 10. Tyrell Belgrove also had a solid performance, contributing 9 points.
Overall, Georgian's strong performance and undefeated record demonstrate their dominance in men's volleyball.
