The Georgian Grizzlies men's volleyball team kept firing on all cylinders on Saturday night as they took on the Algonquin Thunder in Ottawa, ON.
The Grizzlies were strong against a resilient Algonquin squad but it was Georgian who came out on top 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-17, 25-21).
The team now sits with a perfect 12-0 record on the season and is in first place in the OCAA east division standings.
Adam Bielby led the way for the Grizzlies with 21 points (12 kills, 4 service aces, 5 blocks) while Trevor Recalla was impressive with five service aces of his own as part of a 12 point effort.
Georgian will look to keep their perfect record intact on Sunday afternoon when they wrap up this road trip against the La Cite Coyotes at 3 p.m.
