MEN'S RUGBY INFORMATION SESSION AT OPEN HOUSE
PLEASE NOTE: Georgian College Open House has been postponed due to weather and will now take place on Saturday, April 21st
The Georgian Grizzlies men's rugby team will host an information session for those interested in trying out for the team in August as part of Georgian College Open House this Saturday, April 21st.
The session will take place in room E119 on the Barrie campus at 1 p.m.
Prospective student-athletes can meet the coaching staff who will provide information on the team, the league and the expectations heading into the fall season.
Grizzlies Head Coach John Daggett was named Rugby Canada's Male Coach of the Year in 2016 and has led the Grizzlies to three consecutive medals in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association.
Georgian plays all of their home games and practices on J.C. Massie Field located on the Georgian College Barrie campus. Opened in 2016, J.C. Massie Field is a state-of-the-art facility featuring artificial turf, LED lighting and a new scoreboard which will debut at Grizzlies home games in the fall.
Open House begins on Saturday at 9 a.m. at all seven of Georgian's campuses. For more information on Open House visit the Georgian College website.
