Barrie, ON -- Grizzlies fend off Colts, win 105-100. The first quarter saw Georgian take an early lead, scoring 28 points compared to Centennial's 21. However, Centennial fought back in the second quarter, outscoring Georgian 26-18. At halftime, the score was tied at 46, setting the stage for an intense second half.
The Grizzlies came out strong in the third quarteroutscoring the Colts 27-17. This gave Georgian a significant advantage heading into the final quarter. However, Centennial did not back down and gave a remarkable performance in the fourth quarter, scoring 36 points. Despite their efforts, Georgian held on to their lead, scoring 32 points in the final frame, ultimately securing the victory.
Grizzlies' Luc Tourigny (Barrie, ON) was the leading scorer, contributing 16 points. He displayed versatility by making 5 out of 7 field goals, including 3 out of 4 three-point attempts. Emanuel Otong (Cambridge, ON) also had a strong performance, scoring 14 points.
