The first quarter saw Fleming take an early lead, scoring 27 points compared to Georgian's 20. However, Georgian made a comeback in the second quarter, outscoring Fleming 26-16 and taking a 46-43 lead at halftime. The third quarter was a back-and-forth battle, with both teams scoring heavily. Georgian managed to extend their lead by scoring 32 points, but Fleming stayed close with 29 points of their own. Heading into the fourth quarter, Georgian held a slim 78-72 lead.
Individually, the top performers or Georgian, Emanuel Otong (Cambridge, ON) and Julien Duker (Tornoto, ON) led the way. Otong scored 16 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, while Duker contributed 16 points as well.
Despite the loss, Fleming put up a valiant effort. However, Georgian's balanced scoring attack and strong shooting ultimately secured the win for them.
