The Georgian Grizzlies men's basketball team wrapped up their road trip to Ottawa on Saturday afternoon as they took on the La Cite Coyotes.
The Grizzlies were playing their second game in as many days and needed a win.
Georgian put the previous night's loss behind them as they were impressive in a 96-77 victory.
Daniel Martyn led the team in scoring with a season high 20 points while Tyler Vanessen (Whitby) had a season high 16 points as he continues to reacquire his scoring touch since returning from injury.
The Grizzlies are now tied for fifth place in the OCAA east division with an 8-6 record.
The men's team will next face the Canadore Panthers this coming Saturday, Feb. 3 at 1 p.m. at the Georgian Athletic Centre. Tickets are available for $5 at the door.
