The Georgian Grizzlies men's basketball team opened the second half of their OCAA regular season against the St. Lawrence Vikings on the road in Kingston, ON.
The Grizzlies found their scoring touch early and came out of the gate shooting red-hot to give themselves an early lead.
That lead would prove to be important as the Vikings continued to battle back but the Grizzlies were able to hold on for an 80-77 victory.
Anthony Meggo had a solid game scoring a team-high 25 points shooting at over 60% while teammate Connor Laronde was strong scoring 18 points while hitting all seven of his free throw attempts.
The Grizzlies will look to carry that momentum forward as they wrap up their road trip on Sunday afternoon when they take on the Loyalist Lancers in Belleville.
