The Georgian Grizzlies men's basketball team were right back in action on Saturday afternoon as they hosted the St. Lawrence-Kingston Vikings at the Georgian Athletic Centre.
Emotions ran high in a tense game that saw the Grizzlies pull away and hold on for a big 75-67 win.
With the Vikings closing in, Georgian's Connor Laronde hit a clutch three-pointer as part of his 13 points on the afternoon to help the Grizzlies close the game out.
Teammate Aaron Sutton had an excellent game scoring 14 points, hitting 66.7% of his field goals while also collecting 12 rebounds.
The Grizzlies improve their record to 2-1 on the season.
Next up for both the Grizzlies will be a trip to face the Durham Lords on Thursday, Nov. 3. Georgian will play their next home game on Saturday, Nov. 19 when they host the Centennial Colts at 3 p.m.
