45 GEORGIAN STUDENT-ATHLETES EARN OCAA ALL-ACADEMIC AWARDS

The Georgian College Athletic Department is proud to recognize the tremendous achievements of its varsity student-athletes who earned an Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) All-Academic Award during the fall semester.

A total of 45 student-athletes earned the award for being on Georgian's Dean's List by achieving an average of 80% or higher in their academic program while also competing in their respective OCAA sport.

This represents nearly one-third of all Georgian Grizzlies varsity student-athletes who achieved the distinction.

In addition, nine student-athletes from Georgian earned a Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Academic All-Canadian award by earning Dean's List honours while also being named an all-star in their CCAA sport.

All of the student-athletes were recognized for their achievements earlier this month at the Annual Varsity Awards Banquet. A full list of the winners is below.
