MEN'S RUGBY SEMI-FINAL - NO CAPACITY LIMIT
Fans will be permitted to attend the men's rugby semi-final match on Saturday providing they are full vaccinated.
The Georgian Grizzlies men's rugby team will host the rival Durham Lords this coming Saturday, Nov. 6 at 1 P.M. in the OCAA semi-final match at J.C. Massie Field on the Georgian College Barrie campus.
The Grizzlies enter the match as the number two seed having posted a 2-1-1 regular season record while their opponents, the Lords hold a 2-2 season record and finished as the third seed in the men's rugby standings.
The two teams met just two weeks ago in the regular season finale, which was won by the Grizzlies 10-5 in an incredibly close contest. The winner will move onto the gold medal match, while the loser will play for bronze. Both medal games will take place the weekend of Nov. 13/14.
Fans are permitted to attend the semi-final game, with no capacity limit, providing they are fully vaccinated from Covid-19 and follow the listed requirements.
To attend the game, you are required to download the Safe @ Georgian app, available in your phone's apps store. You will also be required to upload your proof of vaccination to the app, 48 hours prior to game time.
HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR PROOF OF VACCINATION
Once you arrive at J.C. Massie Field you will need to show your proof of vaccination and a Covid-19 screening assessment. You will be required to wear your face mask while attending the game.
Parking is available at the Georgian College Barrie campus in parking lot F (see below).
