MEN'S VOLLEYBALL SWEEP COLTS
Liam Gray led the way for the Grizzlies in an impressive 3-0 win over the Centennial Colts on Tuesday in Scarborough.
The Georgian Grizzlies men's volleyball team played their first road games of the season on Tuesday night when they travelled to face the Centennial Colts in Scarborough, ON.
Georgian kept their impressive start going against the Colts.
The Grizzlies were strong winning the game in three straight sets 3-0 with scores of 25-19, 25-15 and 25-20.
Two-time CCAA All-Canadian Liam Gray (Barrie) was solid with a team-high 30 assists and three service aces. Darien Haynes (Barrie) had a team high 10 points from eight kills and two aces.
The Grizzlies are now 2-0 on the season and have yet to drop a set.
Georgian will play their next home game on Friday, Oct. 26 when they host the Loyalist Lancers with the women's game at 6 p.m. and the men's game at 8 p.m.
Tickets for the game will be available at the doors of the Georgian Athletic Centre for $5 each.
