Huskies hold Grizzlies back from gaining ground.
The Grizzlies (4-9) traveled to face the George Brown Huskies (9-3) on Saturday.
What Happened: The Georgian Grizzlies travelled to George Brown on the weekend to face the Huskies. Out of the gate the Huskies began an offensive assault against Georgian, tallying sequential points while the Grizzlies tried to chip away at the pack and find their opening to make a stand. Ultimately, Georgian was unable to find a successful attack pattern that would give them the advantage, falling to the Huskies in three sets, 25-14, 25-18, and 25-16.
Georgian's Halcyon Della Penta had five kills and two digs, while George Brown's Jaque Ronquillo sent ten kills with eight digs back at Georgian.
What's Next: Grizzlies are back in action for Bell Let's Talk day on January 25th when they host the Seneca Sting, women's game starts at 6PM with the men to follow at 8PM. Students can attend the game for free with their ONECard and are encouraged to dress in blue for this event! Tickets are available at the door for $5.
