The Georgian Grizzlies women's volleyball team played their first road game of the season on Tuesday night when they travelled to face the Centennial Colts in Scarborough, ON.
Georgian battled hard, playing two tight sets to start the game and came up just short in both leading to a Colts 3-0 victory (25-24, 25-21, 25-15).
Kelsey Watson (Barrie), Domenica De Francesco (Barrie) and Alandria Czerkas (Sudbury) each had a team-high six points in the game.
The women's team now has a 1-1 record on the season.
The Grizzlies will play their next home game on Friday, Oct. 26 when they host the Loyalist Lancers with the women's game at 6 p.m. and the men's game at 8 p.m.
Tickets for the game will be available at the doors of the Georgian Athletic Centre for $5 each.
