The Georgian Grizzlies women's volleyball team entered their final weekend of the regular season by facing the Algonquin Thunder Saturday night in Ottawa.
The Grizzlies battled hard in the game but they came out on the short side of a 3-1 loss with set scores of 26-24, 25-18, 23-25, and 25-22.
Kathryn Marks (Innisfil) had a big game, scoring team highs in points with 16 and blocks with seven while teammate Kelsey Watson (Barrie) had 13 points and six blocks while also leading the team with 23 digs and two aces.
The Grizzlies will continue their final road trip by facing the La Cite Coyotes Sunday afternoon at 12 p.m.
