WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL DOMINATE GEORGE BROWN
The Grizzlies women's volleyball team had a big game Friday night defeating the George Brown Huskies 3-0.
The Georgian Grizzlies women's volleyball team travelled to face the George Brown Huskies on Friday night in Toronto, ON.
It was an impressive performance for the Grizzlies against the Huskies.
Georgian dominated throughout the game to win the match in straight sets 3-0 with scores of 25-9, 25-15 and 25-20.
Camryn Morgan (Barrie) had an explosive game for the Grizzlies leading the team with eight kills and four aces for a 12 point match. Alandria Czerkas (Sudbury) also was strong serving with a team high five aces to go with five kills.
Georgian now has won two straight games with another two important games coming up this weekend
First the Grizzlies will take on the Algonquin Thunder on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. They will then face the La Cite Coyotes on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 12 p.m. Tickets for both games at the Georgian Athletic Centre are available at the door for $5.
