The Georgian Grizzlies women's volleyball team found themselves in a tough battle on Saturday afternoon at the Georigan Athletic Centre as they hosted the Algonquin Thunder.
The Thunder held a one set advantage but the turning point was the fourth and deciding set.
Both teams battled hard and the Grizzlies nearly made the comeback but they fell in a set that needed extra points. Algonquin claimed the fourth set 27-25 to win the match 3-1.
Camryn Morgan and Quinn McGregor each played well matching with team-high nine kills.
Ashley Mavreas also had a good game picking up seven kills, two blocks and one ace.
The Grizzlies will be back in action on Sunday afternoon when they take on the La Cite Coyotes.
