The Georgian Grizzlies women's basketball team travelled on the road on Tuesday night to take on the Centennial Colts in Toronto, ON.
Georgian battled hard all the way through the game but it wasn't enough to shut down Centennial who were able to pull away in a 74-46 win.
Dayna Snowdon (Kemptville) and Anna Jaworowicz (Midland) each had a matching team-high of 10 points while McKenzie Howlett (Barrie) led the team with seven rebounds.
The Grizzlies will be back in action on Tuesday, Feb. 6 when they travel to take on the Durham Lords in Oshawa, ON.
Georgian's next home game is on Friday, Feb. 9 when they host the Loyalist Lancers at the Georgian Athletic Centre at 6 p.m. Tickets for the game are available at the door for $5.
