WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CAN'T MATCH HUSKIES

The Georgian Grizzlies women's basketball team hosted the George Brown Huskies on Tuesday night at the Georgian Athletic Centre.

The Huskies came in as the top seed in the east division with an undefeated record and they showed why.

George Brown took control off the opening tip-off and never gave up the lead defeating Georgian 76-36.

Eden Young (Tottenham) led the Grizzlies with eight points while Anna Jaworowicz (Midland) had seven points.

The Grizzlies will travel to Ottawa this Saturday, Nov. 18 to face the Algonquin Thunder.

Georgian will return home on Wednesday, Nov. 29 when they host the Centennial Colts with the game scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Georgian Athletic Centre. Tickets for the game are available for $5 at the door. Students can pick up FREE tickets in advance at the Athletic Centre front desk.
