The Georgian Grizzlies men's volleyball team hosted the Algonquin Thunder on Saturday afternoon at the Georgian Athletic Centre in Barrie.
The Grizzlies continued their dominance sweeping the Thunder in three straight sets with scores of 25-18, 25-17 and 25-16.
Georgian spread the ball around offensively with Ryan DeBruyn (Ottawa) leading the team in points with five from four kills and one ace while Darien Haynes (Barrie) had four points from two kills and two blocks.
The Grizzlies have now won five straight games to start the season and are one of only three teams in the OCAA who remain undefeated with the Centennial Colts and Fanshawe Falcons.
Georgian will continue their busy weekend as they host the La Cite Coyotes on Sunday afternoon at the Georgian Athletic Centre at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $5.
