Smith, Moore-Tucker Tame Wild Running Colts to Secure Win

What Happened: The Georgian Grizzlies Men's basketball team traveled to Centennial College on Saturday to face the Colts in their eleventh contest of the season.
A reasonably matched first quarter began to pull in the Grizzlies' favour, giving Georgian the advantage 28-22. Taking the momentum from the first quarter lead, Georgian turned it up a notch and delivered a nine point differential in the second quarter, taking it 25-15 and leading 53-38. After the break, the momentum shifted to Centennial's side. A rested and recalibrated Colts' team put on a strong defensive barrier, with matching offensive bursts to pull the third quarter in their favour 17-10. During the fourth frame, the Colts rallied to push ahead of Georgian 33-30, but ultimately came short from catching the Grizzlies' overall total, resulting in Georgian taking the match 93-88.
Georgian's Simeon Smith contributed 23 points for the Grizzlies, with six defensive and offensive rebounds while Jaylen Moore-Tucker contributed 22 points, five rebounds, and three defensive rebounds.
