The Georgian Grizzlies men's basketball team wrapped up their eastern road trip on Saturday when they took on the Loyalist Lancers in Belleville.
The Grizzlies lost their scoring touch in the second quarter leading to the Lancers pulling away and eventually defeating Georgian 85-64.
Anthony Meggo (Whitby) had a team-high 23 points while teammate Sean Dutton (Orillia) had 10 points in a team-high 33 minutes.
The Grizzlies will play their next home games on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Georgian Athletic Centre in Barrie. First the women's team will host the St. Lawrence Vikings at 1 p.m. followed by the men's game which has Georgian taking on the Fleming Knights at 3 p.m.
Tickets for both games of the double-header are available at the doors for $5.
