The Georgian Grizzlies men's basketball team played their final game of the first half of the season as they hosted the George Brown Huskies at the Georgian Athletic Centre on Friday night.
The Grizzlies had a good start but a shortened bench caught up with them the rest of the way against a tough Huskies team, who only had one loss on the season coming in.
In the end it was George Brown who came away with a 79-60 win.
Connor Laronde had a gritty effort for the Grizzlies, driving the lane throughout on his way to scoring a game-high 25 points.
Shams Yar Adua scored 14 points while Tyler Vanessen recorded a season high with 17 rebounds.
The Grizzlies will now have time to reset as they won't begin the second half of their OCAA regular season until Jan. 14 when they travel to face the St. Lawrence-Kingston Vikings.
